Flexible acrylic court system with rubber granules (Mapecoat TNS Cushion)
Mapei Cushion is a multi-layer court system based on the Mapecoat TNS Cushion family, made of water-based acrylic resin and flexible layers with rubber granules. Primer, filler, flexible cushion layers, base colour and finish coats are applied over an asphalt or concrete surface; it is used for tennis, padel and pickleball, indoors and outdoors.
Its medium-level flexibility reduces impact and helps to alleviate the strain on the player’s joints. According to the ITF classification certificate published by Mapei, the system falls within Category 3 (medium) of the speed classification.
